Description

Shooting star is a perennial that grows as a bushy, trailing vine in the US

The vine can grow up to 7 feet in length, and the leaves are bright orange with conspicuous white spots. Unlike most onion family members, shooting star flowers are small and star-shaped, with five or six petals.
It is a beautiful and crucial herbaceous perennial that grows just above the ground in late spring and early summer. Its small lavender-blue flowers grow in whorls above the crown, and its white seedheads scatter the green seedlings throughout the garden. This herbaceous perennial is native to North America or the Eastern United States; usually, low elevation areas are favorable for cultivation. Our plant grows in late spring and early summer and is known for its distinctive flowers with a small star at the end.

Shooting star plant is an attractive plant that has been used for various purposes for many centuries

The leaves, seeds, and roots are used for healing, and the flowers can be used as a natural dye. This plant is a dazzling yet delicate perennial that goes well with other plants in any garden. This plant will spread 12" to 24" in a single season and grow from a creeping rhizome. The leaves are heart-shaped with fine serrations.

It is a hardy, low-maintenance plant with a unique shape and colors. They will grow in any light, including low-light conditions. This plant is perfect for the office or home to add some color but not much space.
It is a perennial herbaceous-stemmed perennial plant that is evergreen in mild winter climates. It develops in clusters of white flowers, often with multiple stars appearing per cluster. The leaves are unusual and unique, as each leaf has a single linear ciliate vein. These plants produce shoots from the base, which grow to form new plants (pups) ready to divide.
