Understanding of Sawgrass

What is Sawgrass?

Sawgrass is one of the most beautiful plants found in Florida.  Sawgrass can be used all year, but it is most prevalent during the summer months when it blooms with beautiful yellow flowers. Sawgrass is commonly found at nurseries and gardening centers and can be purchased online or from nurseries and garden centers near you.

How does Sawgrass work in the garden?

Sawgrass is a type of grass that can grow in sandy soil. It grows year-round and blooms with yellow flowers, which attract bees and other pollinators. Sawgrass has been used as a ground cover or around ornamental plants and trees to help protect them from the harsh Florida sun. However, some gardeners consider it invasive because it doesn't need much care.
