Description

Red Daylily Plant

Red Daylily is an eco-friendly plant that is perfect for a green home. By being eco-friendly, Red Daylily reduces its impact on the environment. A single Red Daylily plant provides you with up to two years of growth. Plus, Red Daylily is easy to grow and will give your home a beautiful red color.

 How to grow Red Daylily

As a general rule, while growing plants, start with seeds of the type you want to grow because these will bring the most vital and most vibrant results. Daylily, the nightshade or ground cover is best planted from late May to early July, as soon as it starts snowing in your area (or when temperatures start a climb). Loosely cover the seed with a handful of soil every morning. Protect plants from extreme cold weather.

If they are growing in wet soil, they should be protected from frost until they are two inches tall, when daylilies can get lost before reaching their full potential around ten inches tall.

Overwatering can devastate these plants because they need natural rainfall, not watering districts. Water well but keep away from roots which will rot quickly in waterlogged soil.
