Description

Celandine poppy is selected for your zone

Celandine poppy is an herbaceous perennial with spine-like leaves that add to the beauty of any garden or meadow, with the flowers appearing in a range of colors - yellow, orange, gray, purple, and blue. The plant's deep blue flowers are lit by the morning sun and make an ideal companion to white daisies or purple coneflowers. They are perfect for meadow gardens since they add an eye-catching touch of blue, and their long blooming period can supplement other flowers in the garden, such as dandelions or butterfly weeds.

The long, deeply divided, blue-green leaves are accented with purple underneath. The golden-yellow flowers nodding from the top of the leaves have six petals and are fragrant. This sight of beauty will welcome you to any garden or meadow with open arms.
The plant is found in natural areas, especially in grassy meadows, cornfields, and gardens, which are excellent ground coverers.
These self-sow species seem like a natural ground cover that grows from fresh seeds under certain conditions.
